Outstanding Academic Performance is expected for all members of the Gar-Field Marching Band.  All members of the Gar-Field Marching Band are expected to maintain the band's tradition of outstanding academic achievement.  Marching Band adheres to the same GPA requirements as all sports teams.

The Gar-Field Marching Band encourages a culture of high expectations and high achievement for every member.  Students may be asked to present report cards and interim reports to the Director of Bands when they are distributed.  Additionally, all faculty members at GFHS are given a list of marching band students and requested to notify the Director if any band student is not working to a high level of achievement.
